The stupid radio
played “Breakaway” as I was pulling into my driveway (hey, it played a decent song for once!). Yes, that really old Kelly Clarkson song. Strangely enough, I still remember that they played that song at my 5th grade promotion thing (I didn’t think the word “graduation” was fitting), and for some reason it just reminded me of graduation next Saturday. Everything has happened so fast—too fast, at times—and I’m excited but at the same time sad that we’re graduating so soon. Senior year—high school, for that matter—has been a blur, but I’ll save that and my brewing nostalgia for another tumblr post. Hah. It is relieving, though, to be done. With high school. Forever.
But this is extremely creepy because I NEVER listen to the radio, and the one day I do—the last day of high school, pretty much—this song comes on…
